MSN Nursing. Dual nationally certified as a Family and ER Nurse Practitioner

ANA/CNA experience (current & past):

Previously elected to the board of directors and was unable to serve out my term due to personal reasons.

Please describe experience with governance, management, public speaking, and/or financial management.:

Active in the nursing association in several states (Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee). Have held positions in several states locally and on the board of directors. I am a frequent speaker in advance practice nursing and rural critical care.

1) Please describe what members should know about why you seek being elected to this office or position?:

I am an advocate for the clinical practice and protection of our practice. Every year, bills are presented that infringe on the rights of patients and nurses. We need to work on expanding the membership of CNA and continue to push for the rights of nurses and patients.

2) What priorities do you see for CNA at this time?:

Membership, nursing standards of care and staffing, protection of advance practice providers clinical practice.
