Important DORA SBON Stakeholder Meeting September 8, 2023

The Colorado Board of Nursing ("Board") will hold a virtual Stakeholder Meeting on September 8, 2023. The purpose of this Stakeholder Meeting is for the Board to receive feedback regarding the implementation of Colorado Senate Bill 23-188 (Concerning Protections for Accessing Reproductive Health Care) by repealing of Rule 1.33 (Protections for Provision of Reproductive Health Care in Colorado), the implementation of Colorado Senate Bill 23-265 (Concerning a Prohibition on a Regulator Imposing Discipline Against a Person Based on Certain Activities Involving Marijuana) by repealing Rule 1.34 (Protecting Colorado’s Workforce and Expanding Licensing Opportunities), the proposed changes to Rules 1.14 (Rules and Regulations to Register Professional Nurses Qualified to Engage in Advanced Practice Registered Nursing), and the proposed changes to Rule 1.15 (Rules and Regulations for Prescriptive Authority for Advanced Practice Registered Nurses).
